The large blue ships are the ones supplying the oil rigs.

The large blue ships are the ones supplying the oil rigs.

These ships also pull icebergs away, tying nylon lines around the berg, keeping them away from the rigs, a collision would be catastrophic!! The nylon line wont freeze on the ice, so they can pull it off again easily.

That day, a halo appeared around the sun, a very dark color, and a second one appeared later on, i had never seen one so dark in color.

Our boat awaits us!!!   Iceberg hunting!!!!!

WE went out with iceberg quest, the MV Cetacean Quest, on May 31st, we knew that an iceberg had arrived,over at Cape Spear, and we couldn’t wait to get out there, plus being out on a boat on the Atlantic , even though i froze my nose off, was so darn exciting!!!!!!

The landscape around Cape Spear, the trees don’t dare grow more then a few feet, the storms hitting this coast are tremendous!!!!
