I would want to be a poet at this beach…..

Walking around  here, this pristine beach, my footprints  marking the sand, i feel at once very small, but at the same time also capable of anything in life, i so wish all our friends and family could be here, watch the grandkids run around, show this beauty to everyone we love, the next best thing will be my photos, and maybe in the future , we can take someone along…….

To Sea Otter inlet and Hakai beach.

We motored to Sea Otter inlet on October 2nd. A beautiful day again , but cold!!!! Fitz Hugh Sound was very choppy with the NW wind, but it didnt take us long to get there.  We decided to go back to Hakai beach institute again, we loved it there, and there are more hiking trails we didnt go on yet.   This time it also wouldnt be so busy any more.  We went to Hakai the next day, cold wind blowing in Hakai Passage, there was quite an ocean swell there, and poor Annie became pretty sick, i think, because the waves were hitting the boat to the side.  We asked permission that first night, if we could tie to the dock, and the caretaker said ,no problem!!    We were the only boat, so the beach would be quiet too!!!! That evening we headed out for the sunset, how i love the feel and the  immense vastness of the ocean, i could sit and watch it all day……
