Going past Point Wilson, motoring into Juan de Fuca, with the one large freighter showing in the background.

Definately leaving Port Townsend this time…
Farewell to Port Townsend, it was hard leaving here, we had such a good time, and made many new friends. This time i had a chance to take some photos of the waterfront, of the old brick buildings, and the Victorian homes above them. It was a beautiful day too, bright sunshine, beautiful cloud formations here and there, but, no wind!!! ( Bert sure has a hard time with that one!!) Juan the Fuca Strait was quiet, just the odd little boat, and one big freighter, no subs!!!!! We decided to check out Friday Harbour towards the afternoon, and anchored there, close to the downtown and the ferries, these ferries come in at a slow speed, virtually no wake, so no problem to anchor nearby. Pretty nice town, some good shops and restaurants, but i am pretty spoiled now because of Port Townsend!!!! We roamed round the next morning, bought sunhats, finally found some good ones, and ended up at the Saturday morning market. Lots of goodies, pottery, plants and vegies, but things were expensive!
