Ketchikan , a long haul.

On July 26th we headed to Thorne bay, i thought there was a fuel dock there, we were running low, but we did have three containers on deck, with 20 liters each of diesel, so Bert decided to put them in the main tank, just in case…..    A very strong tide was running in Kashevarof Passage , Curtsy was doing 8 knots!!!    Now, that is fun!!!Lords pocket, Thorne bay, eagles in Ketchikan 2017 072Putting emergency diesel in , with a special siphon tool, which brings the fuel up into the hose ,straight into the main tank.
