Many forest fires were burning in British Columbia, as soon as we sailed from Alaska into B C, we noticed the smoke which became more severe , the more we traveled South.   Comox was no exception.

It all depended on the wind, this particular day it blew strongly from the South East.

Eerie sunlight coming through the clouds and smoke.

That evening the wind changed and we could look around and breathe easier again.
