Its July 5th today, and tomorrow we head towards Comox.  We have been staying at our friends dock, here at Whiskey Slough, and have enjoyed every moment.       Its hard to leave this area but we will be back!!!      Early in the morning, i am woken up by a chorus of birds: eagles, pigeons, purple martins, loon, red breasted loon, kingfisher, finches, crows, herons, gulls, and robins.   Within the hour they all go about their business, and i only hear the crows.  We head to Madeira Park for groceries and to meet our friends for coffee.  They have done a wonderful job with all the gardens, every where you look are flowers ,in very designed beds, it really looks great!!
