While we were in Petersburg, we talked to some local people, and some of the boaters, about heading more north, we so wanted to go to some glaciers, but the weather was changing, and most of the folks said that we could get stuck, as the lows in the weather come closer and closer together. So, the decision was made to turn back. We had a hard time with it, but then i thought, heh!! they are not taking the glaciers away any time soon, they will still be there, in the next couple years, so why dont we just enjoy the cruising, so and see some other places, for example the Anan Bear Observatory. So, on Aug. 18 we headed for the Narrows again, carefully checking the tide again. We headed for Clarence strait , to anchor in Exchange cove. On the way , we saw a family of Stellar Sealions , resting inside of a buoy. These guys are so funny, they seem to be constantly performing.
